Guide
The screens
What each part of the app shows, and when it's worth opening.
Watch it first
A quick tour of the app after a few rounds are logged.
The bottom bar
Four tabs: Rounds, Bag, Trends, and Stats. Settings lives behind the gear on the Rounds screen.
Rounds
Your recent rounds, your career averages, and your handicap badge. Tap New round to start one, or tap a past round to open its detail. A round in progress is pinned here, with a shortcut to resume it.
Round detail
The full picture of one round: scorecard, stats grid, scoring breakdown, and the highlights (eagles through doubles, up and downs, sand saves). The Yips will also have an opinion about how you played. Brace yourself.
Bag
Your clubs, which ones are in the bag, and the average distance for each. Tap a club for its history. Averages use your good shots only, so you see what the club does when you hit it well, and a club needs 5 good shots before outliers are trimmed.
Wedge averages include chips and pitches, so they'll read shorter than your full-swing distance. Tap a club to see its individual shots.
Trends
Charts over time, and the way into the deeper views below. This is the place to spot a pattern across rounds, not just in the last one.
Stats
Career numbers: scoring distribution, putts, penalties, and the classics like fairways and greens in regulation. See how stats work for what each one means.
The deeper views
Open these from Trends.
Strokes Gained
Where your strokes went, split into Off the Tee, Approach, Around the Green, and Putting, compared against the handicap level you pick in Settings. A negative number isn't a failure. It's where the strokes are.
Putting
How many putts you take, broken down by first-putt distance.
Tee shots
Fairways hit, which way you miss, and how each tee shot sets up the hole.
Club performance
How each club is really performing: distances, how often your shots are good, and which club is overdue for some practice.
Settings
Theme, on-course options, your account and sync, the Strokes Gained benchmark level, privacy options, and feedback. If something about the app isn't the way you want it, look here first.
